That's why I don't buy that sorta shit and stick with something small and multimedia based. Like my phone! Phone people! Watch stuff! Listen to stuff! Look at pictures! Some other shit!

It's pretty much just the 30 gig ones having issues. We have in our household 1 8gig spiderman skinned, 2 80 gigs 1 daffy skinned and the other marvin the martian skinned, and 1 120 gig zune redwings skinned all working perfectly. We have a couple crappy ipods in a drawer somewhere collecting dust as well.

My Zune froze last night as well, it just rebooted itself randomly and got stuck on the boot load screen and wouldn't turn off or restart.

So I just took it apart and unplugged the battery, and then it booted up again the next time. Not screwing me this time .

It is a 30 gig one for the record, back from Dec-06, got it for Christmas that year. Then sometime around in October of 07 the battery and hard drive crapped out on me, so I replaced the battery and it has been working on and off with Firmware updates that Microsoft has been putting out over time, I was out of it for about 6 months though because no updates would fix it, it would just freeze on everything.

My brother said that it was something about the clock switching over to Jan 1st 09 that caused it to bugger out, but I'm not sure if that's a fact yet or not.
